Brad Hartin started his new position as Culinary Director on October 16th, he comes here with thirty years of experience in the Food Service industry working in Management, Product Development and Training with Perkins Family Restaurants and Wendy’s. Brad lives in Albert Lea and has been there for the past 18 years. My interests include outdoor activities and spending time with my Grandchildren. I will be enrolling at the University of North Dakota in the Certified Dietary Manager program this winter. I am excited to part of the New Richland Care Center Team.
Kathy was hired at NRCC in November of 1980 as a Certified Nursing Assistant and worked both the evening and day shift full-time. In 1989 Kathy began working in the Activities Department as an Assistant. Then in 2003 she became the Activities Director and has stayed in that position.
Kathy is a member of S.W.A.P. (State Wide Activity Professionals) and R.A.P.A. (Regional Activity Professional Association). She thoroughly enjoys working with the residents and their families.
Hello, my name is Gloria Steele and I am the new RN-MDS Coordinator for NRCC. I received my RN degree in 2001 from Riverland Community College in Austin, MN. I have worded in long term care for the past 15 years. My husband Scott and I have been married for the last 5 years. In my spare time I enjoy cooking and trying out new recipes. It makes me very happy to be working for the residents at NRCC.
Penni began her career in the Nursing Home industry as a Certified Nursing Assistant right after high school, working 10 years in Albert Lea while going to Austin Community College and Mankato State University.
She graduated in 1991 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work. Penni then worked in Owatonna for 14 years in many capacities, Activity/Social Services Assistant, TMA, and Director of Social Services. She started at the NRCC in May of 2005.
Penni had always thought it would be a great place to work and now calls this area home. Her children attend the New Richland School District and she enjoys being able to work in the same area her children go to school in.
